I call myself a Storymaker because it seems the best way of describing what I do. Sometimes I write stories, sometimes I illustrate them. I create characters and worlds through drawing, dollmaking, sewing or knitting. ‘Storymaker’ seems to weave all of the varied threads of my work into the one piece of fabric that is me.

So, this is the end of the project. I feel quite sad to be finishing, it’s been great fun and a wonderful challenge. I made this patchwork design to use up the ends of the yarns; not quite enough of any single shade to make the last jumper, so a mix of all of them.…
